Knives and other weapons. It is an offence to have in a public place, without good reason or lawful authority, an article made or adapted for causing injury, or a knife, a sharply pointed article, a bat, a club, a bar or a tool that you intend to use to cause injury. Good reason includes work, fishing, farming, clearing land, lawful hunting and lawful sport, and taking the article to or from work or the place where it was bought. It is for the person charged to prove good reason (section 59 of the Criminal Code Ordinance 2026).

Firearms licences and premises liquor licences are applied for in person only. There is no online application for them. Their fees are paid at the counter where you apply, when you lodge the application, and a written receipt is given (regulation 2 of the Fees and Charges (Amendment) Regulations 2026). The fees for the other services are paid as explained on the fees page.
A firearms licence issued in Los Santos, or anywhere else outside Coral Island, is not valid here. Read the firearm licensing policy before you apply.

Curfews. No curfew is in force. A curfew can be ordered only during a state of emergency and is announced on the alerts page.
A curfew order applies to a stated area between stated times, for up to 24 hours at a time, and may be renewed. People going to shelter or seeking medical help are exempt (section 7 of the Emergency Powers Ordinance 2026).

Penalties
Fines are set on the standard scale (section 14 of the Criminal Code Ordinance 2026):

On conviction on indictment a fine has no maximum. Where a law creates an offence without stating a penalty, the maximum is a fine at level 4, or imprisonment for 3 months, or both (section 16).
Penalty notices. These minor offences may be dealt with by a fixed penalty instead of a prosecution:

A penalty notice is paid within 14 days at the Police station, Puerto Coral, or at another place stated on the notice, and never at Government House or through any website. You may ask to be tried instead. Paying is not a conviction. A notice is not given where violence, damage over $1,000 or a risk to safety is involved, and no more than 2 notices are given to the same person for the same offence in 180 days (Penalty Notices Regulations 2026).
