Privacy notice
What information the Government holds about you when you use this website, why, who sees it and your rights.
Who is responsible
The Cabinet Office, Government House, Puerto Coral, is responsible for the information held through this website.
What we hold
- Your account identifier from the account service, and the person you choose to act as.
- What you put in applications, cases, consultation responses and feedback.
- Records we check when you apply: warrants and convictions held by the Los Santos authorities, and the days you have been recorded on the island.
- Fees and whether they have been paid.
- For security, your IP address and browser details with your sign-in session, deleted when the session ends and after 14 days at most.
- Records of actions taken by Government officers.
What we publish
Nothing about you, except:
- licence and event details you agree to list on a public register or the events page
- notices the law requires to be published in the Gazette, such as appointments to public office
Public figures never identify a person. Any figure between one and four is shown as "fewer than 5".
Who sees your information
Officers of the Government who need it to deal with your application, case or enquiry. Every officer's action is recorded.
How long we keep it
- Applications, cases, visas and licences: for as long as the record is needed.
- Page feedback: 12 months.
- Sign-in sessions: until you sign out, and 14 days at most.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you using the information request service. If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can complain and take the complaint to the Complaints Commissioner.
Fonts and outside services
This website loads everything, including its fonts, from its own address. It does not use any outside analytics, advertising or tracking service.
