Before you start

You need to sign in and choose who you are. You can save your answers and come back to them.

What you need

  • The ministry, department or body you are complaining about
  • What happened, and when
  • What you would like to happen now
  • Any reference number, such as an application or case number

How it works

  1. Tell us what happened and what you want us to do.
  2. We acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours.
  3. We send a written response within 10 days.
  4. If you are not satisfied, you can ask for the Complaints Commissioner to review it within 14 days of the response.

You will be asked to sign in first.

After you apply

You can follow your complaint and add information in Your account. We will not share your complaint with anyone outside the office that handles it.

If you are not satisfied

If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can ask for your complaint to be looked at again within 14 days. It is then reviewed by the Office of the Complaints Commissioner, which is independent of the ministries.
