There are no open vacancies at the moment. New vacancies are listed here and senior posts are also published in the Gazette.
How Government employment works
- Apply for a vacancy online with your role, experience and availability. There is no fee.
- The Department reviews the application within 5 days and may invite you to an interview at Government House.
- If you are offered the position, accept the offer online within 7 days.
- Acceptance issues a work visa for 6 months with the Government of Coral Island as your employer, without charge.
Work visas for other employers
If a company has offered you work on the island, apply for a work visa. The visa is tied to that employer. If the employment ends you must tell the Department within 7 days.
A business visa or a tourist visa does not permit employment.
