1. Citation and commencement
These Regulations may be cited as the Civil Aviation (Entry and Landing) Regulations 2026 and come into force on 29 September 2026.
2. Landing points
An aircraft may land only at Coral Island Airfield, at Northpoint Landing (seaplanes) or, for official flights, at the Government House helipad.
3. Permission to land
The pilot in command of an aircraft must hold permission to land granted under regulation 4, or clearance given by Coral Control, before entering the Air Defence Identification Zone.
4. Applications
Permission to land is applied for online. It is valid from the time it is granted until the end of the arrival window, and for no more than 72 hours.
5. Passengers
Permission to land does not relieve any person on board of the need to hold a visa, residence permit or certificate of citizenship.
6. Offences
A pilot who lands without permission or clearance commits an offence and must report with every person on board to the border desk at Government House.
