Give advance notice of arrival by sea

Tell us before you sail so that your vessel is cleared to enter island waters. You can also apply for personal clearance if you are arriving without a registered craft.

Who can apply
The master of the vessel, or its owner. Anyone arriving without a registered craft, for example swimming or diving. Anyone not barred from entering Coral Island by an entry ban.
Cost
$150 for a vessel, or $50 if you arrive without a registered craft. You can pay after the decision, within 7 days of applying.
How long it takes
Usually decided within 2 hours
What you get
An entry clearance for the vessel, or for you personally, recognised by Coral Control, valid until the end of your arrival window (at most 72 hours).
Issued by
Border Security Directorate, Ministry of Border Security and Defence

Before you start

You need to sign in and choose who is applying. You can save your answers as a draft and come back to them. We check the records held by the Los Santos authorities, so answer the declaration truthfully.

What you need

  • The vessel registration and name, if you are arriving by vessel
  • Your last port
  • The number of people on board
  • When you will arrive and where you will moor

How it works

  1. Tell us about the vessel, the people on board and when you will arrive.
  2. Border Security checks the notice, usually within 2 hours.
  3. If it is accepted, the clearance takes effect with Coral Control within one minute and lasts until the end of your arrival window.
  4. Pay the fee within 7 days of applying: $150 for a vessel, $50 without a craft.

You will be asked to sign in first.

After you apply

We will tell you the decision in Your account and by message on the island. Moor only at the place you gave, and never anchor on the Reef Line.

If you are refused

Do not enter island waters. You can apply again when the reason for refusal no longer applies.
