Citizenship and residence

Living on Coral Island

The residence permit, the residence requirement for citizenship and what residents need to know.

The residence permit

A residence permit lets you live on Coral Island for 12 months. It costs $2,500 and is usually decided within 5 days.

You need to have held a visa for Coral Island before. A citizen sponsor is not required but strengthens your application.

To apply for citizenship you need at least 30 such days in the last 180, and a residence permit held now or before. The eligibility checker shows your own count.
