Get an offer of work
From a registered company, or apply for a Government vacancy.

Apply for a work visa
The visa is tied to your employer and lasts six months.

Pay the fee
Work visas issued through Government employment carry no fee.

Tell us if your job ends
A work visa lapses when the employment ends. Tell the Department within seven days.
