Business licences now issued online
Anyone trading on Coral Island now needs a business licence from the Business Registry. Applications are made online and decided within two days of payment.
PUERTO CORAL, 29 September 2026. The Business Registry, part of the Ministry of Finance and Revenue, is now issuing business licences online under the Business Licensing Ordinance 2026.
You need a business licence if you sell goods or services on Coral Island, whether you trade through a company or on your own account. Casino gaming, which is licensed by the Gaming Commission, is not covered.
A business licence costs $1,500 and lasts 90 days. It can be renewed from 14 days before it expires. The Registry aims to decide applications within two days of the fee being paid.
Every licence in force is listed on the public register of business licences, with the trading name, the kind of business and the premises.
Businesses already trading on the island have until 31 October 2026 to apply.
Ends.
