Would provide for the leasing of State land on Coral Island and establish the Lands Registry.

Purpose of the Bill

The Bill would allow the Government to grant leases of State land for homes, businesses and moorings, set the terms on which leases are granted and renewed, and establish the Lands Registry to record every lease. Until it is enacted no new leases of State land are granted. The Bill has been published for comment and is to be considered by the Transitional Council.
