1. Short title
This Ordinance may be cited as the Public Holidays Ordinance 2026.
2. Public holidays
The public holidays are New Year's Day, Reef Day (14 June), Founding Day (20 September), Christmas Day and Boxing Day. When a holiday falls at a weekend a substitute day is given. The dates are published each year by notice in the Gazette.
