Lucy Alvarez, President of Coral Island

Her Excellency Lucy Alvarez is the President of Coral Island. As Head of State and head of the Government she chairs the Cabinet, assents to the island's laws and holds every ministerial portfolio that has not been assigned to another Minister.

In office

President Alvarez led Coral Island into self-government in 2026 and oversaw the founding of its first public institutions: the Department of Immigration and Citizenship, the border and air defence arrangements run by Coral Control, and the Official Gazette.

Under her Government the island decides for itself who may visit, work, live on and become a citizen of Coral Island, and publishes its decisions, its laws and its appointments in the Gazette.

Before office

Before entering public life President Alvarez built a business career in San Andreas and on the island. She is the owner of Alvarez Corporation and of Rigged Gaming Ltd, the island's casino operator. Her interests are published in the Register of Interests, and gaming licensing is decided by the independent Coral Island Gaming Commission.

President Alvarez is resident on Coral Island and in San Andreas.
