Gaming and Casino Control Ordinance 2026: commencement and establishment of the Coral Island Gaming Commission

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that:

1. The Gaming and Casino Control Ordinance 2026 comes into force on 29 September 2026.
2. The Coral Island Gaming Commission is established under section 3 of the Ordinance as a body independent of Ministers.
3. From that date no person may operate a casino, work in a key or gaming role in a casino, or hold a gaming event on Coral Island except under a licence or permit granted by the Commission.
4. Applications are made online. The Commission's register of licences is open to the public.
5. The members of the Commission will be appointed by notice in the Gazette.
